| kingfisher river kelvin, glasgow, 2006 found aluminium cans, plastic-coated wire length: 17 cm (of which bill c.4) the kingfisher was made from found irn bru cans collected from the vicinity of the river kelvin in glasgow, where i was living at the time. it was then re-installed on a branch above the river, where it remained for over a year before a period of severe weather loosed it from its perch. the installation was part of a wider project which included two bookworks. |
